Grape varieties |
Trebbiano, Malvasia, Vermentino. The grapes are grown on our hillside estate vineyards surrounding Montescudaio on well drained sandy and calcareous soils. |
Vinification |
Traditional vinification for white wines. Grapes are soft pressed to separate skins. The juice then undergoes temperature controlled fermentation between 18° and 20° C. |
Organoleptical characteristics |
Colour: brilliant, straw yellow colour with delicate greenish nuances. Bouquet: fresh, slightly fruity, fine, clear, pleasant. Taste: dry with a pleasant acidity, well balanced. |
Best served with |
Superb aperitif wine, well paired with hors-d’œuvres, soups and boiled meat, cooked vegetables, fresh cheese as well as with delicate fish, seafood, shrimps and prawns. |
Serving Temperature |
The best serving temperature for tasting is 14°C. |
Storage |
Best drunk when young nevertheless it can be kept up to 3 years if stored in cool and dark cellars. |
