Harvest The grapes are hand-picked in small crates.
Grape varieties Trebbiano, Malvasia, Vermentino. The grapes are grown on our hillside estate vineyards surrounding Montescudaio on well drained sandy and calcareous soils.
Vinification Traditional vinification for white wines. Grapes are soft pressed to separate skins. The juice then undergoes temperature controlled fermentation between 18° and 20° C.
Organoleptical characteristics Colour: brilliant, straw yellow colour with delicate greenish nuances. Bouquet: fresh, slightly fruity, fine, clear, pleasant. Taste: dry with a pleasant acidity, well balanced.
Best served with Superb aperitif wine, well paired with hors-d’œuvres, soups and boiled meat, cooked vegetables, fresh cheese as well as with delicate fish, seafood, shrimps and prawns.
Serving Temperature The best serving temperature for tasting is 14°C.
Storage Best drunk when young nevertheless it can be kept up to 3 years if stored in cool and dark cellars.
